I am born one day

not knowing the way

my life will take,

So time goes on

and then before long

There are choices

I must make!

I was soon to learn

life can take a turn

and our destiny

can seem uncertain,

And whether we're glad,

or whether we're sad

whether we're happy

or hurtin'

Whether far or near

or if it's plain or unclear

or if we succeed or fail,

Should we follow

or forsake the choices we make?

Only time will tell!
