Live Now!

When I ask the Lord to please tell me how,

He answers and says "just do it now!"

Each time I kneel and again start to pray,

I hear Him again saying, "Do it today!"

I think I might see what's causing my sorrow,

I've just put everything off until tomorrow.

Each time I pray, "Lord show me how!"

His answer is, "Just do it now!"

So many things I could have done,

So many victories I could have won

But I put things off and to my great sorrow

I have never lived in that elusive tomorrow.

So to Him I humbly bow,

and ask for strength to live my life now!
